| 2009-2010 Year In Review |
| The 2009-2010 Season was by far the most challenging in years! Starting with the Labor Day Opener (September 2009) To the Grand Finale in April 2010 ( The US OPEN Championship) The weather being the greatest obstacle this season, challenged teams from all over the Midwest! The Tournament season went full circle with weather conditions, starting in the high 70's and ended in the high 70's, with heavy snow and bitter cold in the middle, forcing events to be canceled or moved to other locations. The dogs with the Drive to hunt, were the most challenged, with 3 foot snow drifts, and 17 below temperatures, they over came the conditions event after event. The results speak for themselves, with 6 first place, 8 second place, 3 third place and 2 fourth place finishes. A remarkable end to a great tournament season! Team Wingshooters ended up the season with being qualified to place in the TOP DOG SHOW DOWN held at the conclusion of the NATHA season. Only 12 teams can qualify to participate, by points earned through out he season. Rev our prized Weimerweiner, qualified the team this year. The first time since the team has participated in the tournament! What a great ending for the 2009/2010 season! Planning has already began for the next season, and we look forward to another successful Year!
